Physiotherapy is the treatment and rehabilitation of the body following pain, injury or surgery.
Our Physiotherapists treat all injuries and pain of the body ranging from the more common complaints of joint sprains, muscle strains and back/neck ache to problems such as ligament tears, arthritis, osteoporosis, disc problems, sciatica, headaches, poor biomechanics, muscle imbalance, inflexibility and poor core strength.
Within your first session we diagnose your problem, explain your condition to you, treat you with hands on physical therapy and provide you with advice on exercise, good posture and workplace ergonomics. We use treatment techniques such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue release (trigger point therapy, acupressure, dry needling and massage), stretching, core strengthening programs and muscle energy techniques.
No doctor’s referral is necessary to see a physiotherapist. We can refer on to specialists and doctors or for further tests if required. Whether you have sprained your ankle, hurt your shoulder or pulled your hamstring, whether you are super sporty, an armchair athlete, or thinking of returning to fitness and whether you have pain in your body or just want advice as to how to get stronger to prevent any problems, then physiotherapy can help you.
